Copycat Famous Amos Chocolate Chip Pecan Cookies
Makes 48 cookies · ~200 calories per serving (estimated) · 15 min prep · 10 min cook
Ingredients
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup oil
- 1 egg (room-temp egg)
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Cream together white sugar, brown sugar, butter, oil, egg, milk, and vanilla.
- Add in flour, salt, cream of tartar, and baking soda.
- Mix in chocolate chips and pecans.
- Drop dough by teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 8–12 mins.
