Copycat Honey Baked Ham

A tried-and-true family favorite from Becky's own recipe collection. Here's everything you need to make Copycat Honey Baked Ham at home.

Copycat Honey Baked Ham

Ingredients

  • Spiral ham
  • 2 tablespoons butter (melted)
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • Pinch of allspice

Instructions

  1. Mix honey and butter.
  2. Separate the ham layers.
  3. Drizzle the mixture in between the layers of ham and rub some on the top.
  4. Put large side down in the crock pot and cook on high for 2 hours.
  5. Set the juice from the crockpot to the side.
  6. Mix all seasonings together and sprinkle into the layers of the ham and sprinkle on top.
  7. Put ham on a baking sheet.
  8. Put in oven on broil for 5 mins, but watch to make sure it does not burn.
  9. Seasoning should be caramelized on the ham.
  10. To make the glaze: take 2 tablespoons of juice and leftover seasoning, add to a saucepan (may need more juice).
  11. Keep stirring until thick.
  12. Pour over the ham.
