Homemade Banana Bread

Makes 10 servings · ~230 calories per serving (estimated) · 19 min prep · 1.8 hr cook

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F.
  2. Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  3. Combine bananas, sugar, egg, and butter together in a bowl.
  4. Mix flour and baking soda together in a separate bowl; stir into the banana mixture until the batter is mixed.
  5. Stir salt into the batter.
  6. Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick comes out clean, about 1 hour (50 mins).
