Kentucky Bourbon Pecan Pie
Makes 10 servings · ~580 calories per serving (estimated) · 25 min prep · 50 min cook
Ingredients
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup dark brown sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup dark Karo syrup
- 2 cups pecan halves
- 5 tablespoons bourbon
Instructions
- Make sure butter is softened before you start.
- In a large bowl, combine butter and brown sugar; mix until smooth.
- Add one egg at a time to the butter and brown sugar mixture.
- Add vanilla, salt, bourbon & corn syrup (Karo syrup) to the butter, brown sugar, and egg mixture.
- Make sure all ingredients are mixed together well.
- Add 1 cup of pecans to the bottom of the pie crust.
- Add the pie filling to the crust.
- Add the rest of the pecans to the pie.
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Bake for 45–55 mins.
