A tried-and-true family favorite from Becky's own recipe collection. Here's everything you need to make Mexican Tater Tot Casserole at home.
Mexican Tater Tot Casserole
Makes 8 servings · ~315 calories per serving (estimated) · 17 min prep · 48 min cook
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 16 oz frozen tater tots
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 tsp taco seasoning
- 1 cup cheese
- 1 can chili beans
- 1 can Rotel tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon onion (chopped fine)
Instructions
- Cook meat and season. Drain.
- Drain Rotel tomatoes and add to the meat.
- Add chili beans with sauce to the meat. Combine.
- In a 9x13 baking dish, grease the pan, add tater tots, and pour the meat mixture over the tater tots.
- Add cheese to the top.
- Bake at 350 for 45–50 mins.
